Four Alt Rock Songs With Political Messages EP ‘I Can Pay For It

So finally, we managed to book a studio to record the new EP. We recorded four songs in one day here’s a short video from the day.
1) I Can Pay For It
2) For Yourself
3) Pink Elephant
4) Say What You Want to Say

The EP is quite ironic, intense and political in its own right reflecting the current political and economical reality in Europe and the West in general.

This time we recorded live using real instruments a big difference from the previous E-Mute releases where I was recording bits and pieces of instruments on my own at different times and different studios, even different countries some times. I did not use many synthesizers like before. 100% natural and organic. Because we just had one day to record everything, the vocals I recorded at home using my MK-105 Oktava mic and Logic. Also I used the ”blanket technique” to acoustically treat the vocal recording at home. Basically recording vocals with a blanket on top of your head. The EP is being mixed and mastered at the moment. Four songs with a different political message each.

Pink Elephant Lyrics:
Friends enemies others and relatives

Parents families babies and celebrities

Winners losers believers and confusers

Drinkers thinkers introverts and extroverts

Positive negative empathy and sympathy

Strength and weakness happiness and misery

Makes sense nonsense birth life death and health

Hugs and kisses tears panic push away

There is a pink elephant in the room….

Guns n’ roses, politics, hypocrisy

Dying and living how can we survive this game,

drunk or sober what the hell I’m doing here

atheists scientists, priests, beliebers Justin Biebers

Presidents, parliaments anarchists and terrorists

fearing, risking winning bets or losing games

Makes sense nonsense birth life death and health

Hugs and kisses tears panic push away

There is a pink elephant in the room

Come on let’s bring on the fun…
Thanks for reading!
Cheers
